Patrick Lundeen - MAD

This small scrapbook zine is like a shrine, a pocket sized collection of Patrick Lundeen's personal icons.  Much like in his paintings, Lundeen's eccentric drawn ornaments function as a form of illumination for these figures of gentleness and glamour, kindness and shame, dissipation and virtue.  The landmarks of a moral landscape as expressed through a highly refined sense of taste, they picture a kind of good life as lead by some gentle male patriarch, seated at the hearthside surrounded by the mementos of his hard earned wisdom.
